Does the band on your new bra seem shorter than expected?
This is completely normal. The band size (for example, 95 or 36) refers to your body measurement, not the actual length of the bra band itself. Bras are made with elastic materials to give a supportive and comfortable fit, so the unstretched band will always be shorter than your body measurement.
There is also a normal tolerance of about ±1.5 cm in band width.
If you are comparing your new bra to an older one, keep in mind that bands lose elasticity over time, so the new one may feel firmer at first – just as it should.
